We are proud to introduce our new High-Field Open MRI facility in Concord, featuring the Oasis Velocity — the only system of its kind in Northern California. This advanced technology provides a more spacious, open environment that helps patients feel at ease while still delivering the high-quality images physicians rely on for confident diagnosis.
And coming soon: InView will be upgrading select locations with state-of-the-art 3T MRI systems, expanding our ability to offer even higher-resolution imaging for complex diagnoses.
What is an MRI?
MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a non-invasive exam that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the body’s internal structures. It plays an essential role in diagnosing and monitoring many conditions, including:
- Brain and spinal cord abnormalities
- Joint injuries and musculoskeletal disorders
- Tumors, bleeding, or infections
- Diseases of the liver, kidneys, and other organs
MRI is painless, does not use radiation, and is one of the safest and most informative imaging options available.
