Kissell Law Group LLC aggressively defends all criminal matters across the entire state of Missouri.  No case is too big, nor too small, for us to help!  Founded in 2009, our Mission: Zealously protecting and defending good people who made a bad decision.  Since then, our law practice’s purpose has become more focused: We Fight For You!  

As a Criminal Defense Attorney, Thomas Kissell has focused on Serious Felonies, Drug offenses and DWI / DUI cases throughout Missouri.  Nationally recognized by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys as a top 10 under 40 Attorney since 2017, Thomas is trial tested and truly loves representing his clients. 

Attorney Thomas Kissell has handled 1000’s of criminal matters over the last decade plus of private practice.  Thomas has attended The National College for DUI Defense Intensive Summer Session at Harvard Law School; 25th Annual Mastering Scientific Evidence in DUI/DWI Cases in New Orleans, Louisiana; Forensic Toxicology for Attorneys in Miami, Florida; 10th Annual Zealous Advocacy in Sexual Assault and Child Victims Cases in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

Prior to private practice, Thomas worked in the legal department of American Family Insurance for 5 years.  As in-house counsel for American Family Insurance, his role was litigating personal injury claims,  determining insurance coverage, reviewing insurance policy language, and deposing adverse witnesses, police officers and opposing parties.   Thomas received winning verdicts in every civil jury trial handled while with American Family. 

Outside of his law practice, Attorney Thomas Kissell and his wife Elizabeth, are very active with the Friends of Kids with Cancer, a local St. Louis charity that helps kids with cancer be kids! In addition to their charitable passions, both are also diehard Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues Fans.
