D&L Telecommunications, LLC is a licensed underground electrical and telecommunications utility contractor serving the State of Florida. We specialize in building underground infrastructure for developers, home builders, and utility companies. Our services include excavation, directional boring, and installation of direct buried and concrete-encased conduit systems. We are known for competitive pricing, high-volume efficiency, and flexibility in meeting our clients’ needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our client base, build strategic relationships, and secure new project opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the construction or utilities industry and thrives on driving growth through sales, networking, and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with developers, builders, and utility companies throughout Florida.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and prequalification packages.
  • Track bid schedules, RFQs, and RFPs through online portals and industry contacts.
  • Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure accurate project pricing and delivery.
  • Represent D&L Telecommunications at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
  • Maintain CRM records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or estimating within the construction, utilities, or telecommunications industries.
  • Strong understanding of underground infrastructure or utility construction preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and bid documents.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and willingness to travel statewide.
